D.T.
Four long years,
Enough is enough
His leadership
A blind man’s bluff
Every twittered lie
A slap in the face
His final curtain
An amazing grace
Wasn’t it by far the dumbest and worst
To search the heal in America first
A virus ignores the highest wall
Ignorance and pride will have a fall
It’s as true as banal
Pride will have a fall
Four lost years
Wasted time
His ecological policy
An organized crime
Pigeonhole thinking
Can’t save the earth
So dare the change
For all one is worth
How many tears now need to be dried
The American dream seems to have died
Surely this world had seen leaders more worse
But even his term was like a bad curse
Such a sore loser we never have seen
His departure from office so painful and mean
A small minded person will never grow tall
And ignorance and pride will have a fall
It’s as true as banal
Pride will have a fall
Four wrong years
It’s time to quit
His lousy legacy
A growing split
So forget the past
And get great again
The walk to vote
Will not be in vain
How many people have to burry a dead
The denial of danger is making so sad
What first must happen to open his eyes
When will he lose faith in his lies
I’m afraid we will never know
Anyway, that’s past history now
Because as an old proverb has it all
Ignorance and pride will have a fall
It’s as true as banal
Pride will have a fall

Chilhood Days
04:13
|
|||
Childhood Days
It was a mild eve
And a dog was howling
In the distance of a setting sun
She pleaded for help
But the boys were laughing
'bout the retarded girl
In their neighborhood
Childhood days of miracle and wonder
With a bro’ and some pals
Some day we’ll understand the magic
Of friendship and love
There was a pickup
Loaded with a mower
Some strange looking men sat in the back
They joked around lunch
With olives and garlic
And gave us lift
To a foreign land
Childhood days of miracle and wonder
With a bro’ and some pals
Some day we’ll understand the magic
Of friendship and love
But all this is past
No movies no pictures
All we have left
A faint memory
The places we loved
A fata morgana
My misspent youth
I love you so
It was the flat roof
Of a garage in the backyard
Where two friends played soccer in the sun
There was a blood pool
Loud sirens and a blue light
A tackling on the sideline
Has ended the match
Childhood days of miracle and wonder
With a bro’ and some pals
Some day we’ll understand the magic
Of friendship and love
But all this is past
No movies no pictures
All we have left
A faint memory
The places we loved
A fata morgana
My misspent youth
I love you so
There was an old man
Roamed around the skid row
On his search for some littered food
He had a black cane
And a huge fist
Wich he waved around
When he hounded us kids
Childhood days of miracle and wonder
With a bro’ and some pals
Some day we’ll understand the magic
Of friendship and love
But all this is past
No movies no pictures
All we have left
A faint memory
The places we’ve loved
A fata morgana
My misspent youth
I love you so

Black
04:20
|

Black
Black as white is just a name
Not a colour but much the same
Not a race but full of pain
The word usage a crying shame
Black as white is beautiful
Despite all denying ridicule
Black of course is mattered life
Even disbelief still is rife
Black as white is one of a kind
Look at both with the eyes of a blind
Human dignity is not inviolable
Every single man a miracle
Black is a disgracing prejudice
All suckers from welfare benefits
But without black there is no white
We need the dark to see the light
And the cry for justice isn’t a criminal act
The most natural right in actual fact
I still have the dream of Martin Luther King
And so many songs we still have to sing
Black or white it’s not your choice
A scream of death an awful noise
But thanks to a little mobile phone
We see the truth close to the bone
Black white yellow never mind
We all part of one humankind
And without black there is no white
We need the dark to see the light
And the cry for justice isn’t a criminal act
The most natural right in actual fact
I still have the dream of Martin Luther King
And don’t give a shit how many songs we still have to sing
Here these words don’t know what to say
A comforting word I long for this day
No more white but blushed with shame
A fire of anger arised from a flame
And the cry for justice isn’t a criminal act
The most natural right in actual fact
I still have the dream of Martin Luther King
And don’t give a shit how many songs we still have to sing

Can You Hear Me
03:05
|
|||
Can you hear me
Even in the darkest night
There is a flame that never dies
Even all the blind among us
May expect a new sunrise
Lights turned red
Steel to rust
Ashes to ashes
And dust to dust
Rien ne va plus
The die is cast
A cat in the sack
For the lucky last
Can you hear me
Can you hear me
Can you hear me at all
Can you hear me
Can you hear me
I’m ready to fall
Common rules
Are out of date
All cry for help
Way too late
The naked truth
And a puzzled past
Side by side
In one last raft
Even in the darkest night
There is a flame that never dies
Even all the blind among us
May expect a new sunrise
Can you hear me
Can you hear me
Can you hear me at all
Can you hear me
Can you hear me
I'm ready to fall

I Can't Hide my Tears
04:52
|
|||
I Can’t Hide my Tears
Do you hear the ringing of the mourning bell
The obsequy my dear has just begun
I can’t listen to the mawkish eulogy
Need to left the church to search the sun
Growing older means to learn to say goodbye
But nobody can take away the pain
And there is no preparation for the impotence
To see all prayers will remain in vain
I can’t hide my tears
I marvel at the beauty and the dignity
Of all the faded flowers on your grave
After all the time of endless suffering
I'm sure you will adore this peaceful place
All farewell words are fading into jabbering
Lapsing into silence at the end
So I remain alone now with the certainty
We will meet again my lovely friend
I can’t hide my tears

I Try to Understand
03:54
|
|||
I Try to Understand
No I am not violent
Cause light as a leaf
No I am no murder
Not even a thief
I did not sell drugs
And I’m not a jade
Committed no fraud
No smash n’ grab raid
So what makes me so dangerous
To put me into jail
It’s the wish for independence
And to cast off the veil
It’s the urge of all the naked
The poor and the weak
The struggle for freedom
The need for free speak
I don’t get a trial
No way to defend
No act of indicting
No hope for an end
But so many tries
To break my faint will
So many bad screws
With a license to kill
Woman cannot drive a car
A pipeclay nothing more
Who still adheres to this idea
Should visit a doctor
To lift the ban is not enough
Respect the human rights
A modern civil society
Will lead to unknown heights
But I try to understand you
With all your bigotry
I try to understand you
The thoughts are free
I try to understand
Don’t think yourself safe
I am not dead yet
Don’t seek for revenge
Nor a sign of regret
But I know I’m right
I did nothing wrong
My time will come
It won’t be long
Your fear for change Is bigger
Than my own misery
But nothing lasts forever
Teaches us history
It’s a balm for all the naked
The poor and the weak
Who struggle for freedom
The need for free speak
But I try to understand you
With all your bigotry
I try to understand you
The thoughts are free
I try to understand

No Shining Example
04:18
|

No Shining Example
Was a fool with my fortune
Lost every game
I couldn’t stop drinking
And put you to shame
I quitted my job
Left my family
Was a soldier of fortune
A king of maybe
No shining example
But I pay my bills
Look back at all with hardly no regrets
And before you gripe do it better first
I bungled the job
And let you down
I’m a textbook example
For a tragic clown
Hurt my daddy and wife
Just to name a few
And not one of my dreams
Have ever come true
No shining example
But I pay my bills
Look back at all with hardly no regrets
And before you gripe do it better first
Always laughed to loud
And often out of place
I stumbled back home
With a battered face
I was so conceited
And took no advice
I’m getting now old
But nowhere near wise
No shining example
But I pay my bills
Look back at all with hardly no regrets
And before you gripe do it better first

Playing for Love
03:39
|

Playing for Love
Don’t tell me no lies to impress me
With your eyes shinin’ bright
No need to play act just to please me
Can’t wait for a glorious night
Don’t trust all the slyboots around you
Better smile right in their face
Don’t act like a barbie to arouse me
It would be a wild goose chase
Don’t stir up old stories to bore me
'bout your personal wars
All the bad days are gone forever
A new life has opened the door
Don’t send me no flowers to soothe me
‘cause I don’t like flowers at all
Don’t send me no greetings from heaven
I’m ready and wait for your call
Oh darling please answer my prayer
And take my advice
Oh darling only playing for love
Will lead to a prize
No way to be prudent a lifetime
Either way life is a bitch
Don’t tame the little imp inside you
Nobody needs to die rich
So do something crazy and join me
For day trip up to the moon
Don’t worry the weather is perfect
And we’ll back right before noon
Oh darling, please answer my prayer
And take my advice
Oh darling only playing for love
Will lead to a prize

Summer Fairy Tale

Summer Fairy Tale
Welcome my dear stranger let me take take you by the hand
There’s no need to feel uneasy in this foreign land
I’ll show you all the places that you might have heard before
Hofbräuhaus Reeperbahn and Brandenburger Tor
But first sit down here on a bank and enjoy equality
Under an old chestnut tree over a cold beer
Don’t you think it’s peaceful here and people having fun
I'm so glad don’t have the right to bear and keep a gun
No speed limit on a highway is enough senseless liberty
Here in the land of the moderately brave and free
O say can you see
Summer fairy tale in Germany
Feel free to judge the difference
On your search for deliverance
We feel safe on every street with the help of our police
A trusted friend and helper that oddly rhymes with peace
But we certainly have no reason to point fingers at anyone
Denying history is as dangerous as a loaded gun
Sometimes it’s much better not to understand a word
The ugly tirades of the dregs are better left unheard
You’ll hardly find a state line against ignorance and hate
Sadly every single nation share this bitter fate
So enjoy a carefree stay here but please with opened eyes
Tolerance and open minds are things that some despise
At least the vast majority makes me proud of Germany
It’s by far not perfect here but the only home for me
O say can you see
Summer fairy tale in Germany
Feel free to judge the difference
On your search for deliverance
It’s by far not perfect here but the only home for me

Psalm 139
07:04
|
|||
Psalm 139
O Lord you have searched me and known me
You know when I sit down and when I rise up
You discern my thoughts from afar
My thoughts from afar
You search out my path and my lying down
And are acquainted with all my ways
Even before a word is on my tongue
You know it altogether
You hem me in behind and before
And lay your hand upon me
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me
It is high I cannot attain it
Where shall I go from your spirit
Where shall I flee from your presence
If I ascend to heaven you are there
If I make my bed in hell you are there
If I take the wings of the morning
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea
Even there your hand shall lead me
And your right hand shall hold me
If I say surely the darkness shall cover me
And the light about me be night
Even the darkness is not dark to you
The night is bright as the day
For darkness is as light with you
How precious to me are your thoughts
How vast is the sum of them
If I would count them they are more than the sand
I awake and I am still with you
Oh that you would slay the wicked o God
O men of blood depart from me
They speak against you with malicious intent
Your enemies take your name in vain
Do I not hate those who hate you
And do I not loathe those who rise up against you
I hate them with complete hatred
I count them my enemies
Search me O God and know my heart
Try me and know my thoughts
And see if there be any grievous way in me
And lead me in the way everlasting
Oh my God
